Gabriel
Station is a venture of the Gabriel Beale Phillips, LLC. (GBP,llc)
GBP,llc is comprised of family and close
friends of the late Joseph Gabriel Jr.
(February
12, 1936 - October 29, 2002)
Gabriel Station is built in honor of and in
memoriam to Joe.
Joseph Gabriel Jr. was a
husband, a father, and a friend.
He was also a soldier, an engineer, an
entrepreneur, and a businessman.
A graduate of
Northeastern University, Joe, his wife Irene and their family came to North
Augusta
as an engineer with industry.
However, after a few years Joe and his family started the Pink Dipper
Ice Cream Parlour chain with locations in
Augusta, North Augusta, and Aiken.
After 20 years in the ice cream business
(1973-1993), Joe and Irene begin to
slow down a bit,
sold off the ice cream stores and began to diversify into commercial real estate
and financial services.
Gabriel Station is built and maintained to
the highest standards.
Because those
of us who knew
Joe, will think of
him every time we see his building.
